Do you thrive when working with a team and know how to bring added value to projects? Come and join our team as a Mechanical Systems Optimization Specialist.

You will work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians on innovative large-scale projects. At our clients’ sites, you will master the technical aspects of the mechanical equipment, establish collaborative relationships with building operators and provide them with onsite training.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyzing operating sequences and modes during the design phase
  • Performing equipment start-up and ensuring high performance
  • Optimizing operations of new and existing equipment for peak efficiency
  • Designing and selecting equipment controls
  • Offering continuous training and support for clients
  • Adjusting the programming of DDC systems to resolve issues and continually improve the energy efficiency of the buildings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanics, or electricity, or a college degree in building mechanics or instrumentation and controls (or other relevant education)
  • 3-5 years of experience in the area of digital building control (HVAC)
  • Understanding of systems mechanics
  • Programming abilities
  • Proficiency in control systems from leading manufacturers like Delta, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, etc. (strong asset)
  • French/English bilingualism (strong asset)
  • A valid driver’s license is required for the position
