What You’ll Be Doing

At Ecosystem, quality trumps quantity. You’ll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team located in multiple locations. You’ll contribute to projects and lend your expertise in:

  • Participating in multidisciplinary projects involving electrical design of various energy efficiency measures
  • Designing electrical networks for interconnection of distributed generation with local utility in institutional buildings and industrial facilities
  • Designing essential power systems including generators and ATS systems
  • Be a technical expert in your discipline and provide advice to colleagues
  • Vetting equipment selection
  • Conducting electrical cost estimation
  • Performing feasibility studies
  • Evaluating multiple solutions while considering technical and financial impacts
  • Developing plans and specifications
  • Technical support during the construction phase

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage internal and external relationships
  • Capacity to think critically and creatively
  • Time management skills as your technical expertise will be high in demand
  • Ability to create detail-oriented plans and specifications that meet expectations of clients and contractors
  • Unceasing determination and willpower to find solutions to complex challenges
  • Constant desire for professional and personal development

Other Skills (Assets)

  • Familiarity with the NEC and its NYC amendments
  • Understanding of transformers, breakers and all distribution equipment
  • Knowledge of innovative technological solutions
  • Experience working with combined heat and power generators
  • Power system studies softwares such as ETAP, Easypower and SKM
