Who you are... 

As a Business Development Associate, you directly contribute to Ecosystem's sales growth. This role is ideal for a professional with an intrapreneurial profile who aims to identify and develop large-scale business opportunities. What you will do...

  • Collaborate with the Toronto client acquisition team to accelerate the implementation of the go-to-market plan.  
  • Ensure a constant and active presence at targeted, market-specific events.  
  • Contribute to the GTM strategy by bringing market information and feedback from events and client relations. 
  • Generate leads. Create a base of future clients and continually nurture them through business development activities and relationship building. 
  • Understand and analyze the needs of potential clients and how they connect with Ecosystem's value proposition. 
  • Effectively communicate Ecosystem’s value proposition, experience, and expertise. 
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with clients at various hierarchical levels and across multiple departments (finance, facilities, engineering, etc.). 
  • Collaborate with Ecosystem's multidisciplinary team to develop proposals that meet client needs, concerns, objectives, and expectations while adhering to deadlines and our high-quality standards. 
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience. 
  • Utilize Salesforce to capture client knowledge, build our market intelligence, and track progress in the sales plan. 

Experience and qualifications...

  • Minimum of five (5) years of business development and lead generation experience, ideally in the commercial and residential real-estate sector. 
  • A network of contacts that can be leveraged to drive new business development. 
  • Experience in building a client network through cold-calling and networking. 
  • Experience in identifying opportunities and developing creative value propositions. 
  • Proven track record in successfully cultivating relationships with multiple client organizations, especially with senior executives, through a developed consultative sales approach. 
  • Familiarity with a sales cycle involving multiple stakeholders. 
  • Experience in the energy, engineering, or construction sectors (a major asset). 
  • CRM experience (Salesforce).
