Ben Milbank Named Top Commercial Real Estate Professional

Ben Milbank, Senior Project Development Engineer based in Ecosystem’s NYC office, has been named one of 20 architects, engineers, and construction professionals by Commercial Observer magazine. The annual listing celebrates top young professionals in commercial real estate across the US.

In his profile, Ben is spotlighted as “part of the vanguard of decarbonization efforts in commercial real estate,” thanks to his “expertise on Local Law 97 [that] no doubt dwarfs that of many old timers.”

Among Ben’s Ecosystem projects is the International Tailoring Company Building, one of the first NYC multifamily projects to achieve full Local Law 97 compliance. In addition to his work with Ecosystem’s clients, Ben is also the technical advisor to the Empire Building Challenge, a New York State initiative that works with the largest commercial and multifamily real estate owners committed to leading the industry toward the goal of deep decarbonization of existing buildings.
