Climate Week NYC

The fourteenth annual Climate Week kicked off in New York City this September, bringing together climate action leaders. Over the week, more than 500 events were hosted in person and virtually to provide knowledge and insights on the climate crisis. Ecosystem participated in two of the events to discuss decarbonization solutions.

Andre Rochette, founder and chairman of Ecosystem, joined BloombergNEF’s in-person roundtable discussion on Northeast Decarbonization, in partnership with the Quebec Government Office in New York City. The conversation touched on the region’s potential as a global leader in decarbonization, thanks to the availability of clean hydropower and cross-border partnerships.

Etienne Frenette, Vice President, Business Development, participated in a roundtable discussion sponsored by the Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership around the theme “Electrification is the Low-Carbon Future.” A dynamic conversation, with participants from both the public and private sectors, explored the barriers to the adoption of heat pump technologies as well as the solutions.
