Quebec already has what it needs to reduce fossil fuels consumption

The recent releases of the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report and the federal government’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan have discouraged many people. In Quebec, however, it is already possible to considerably reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and energy waste.

Ecosystem’s experience has shown us that project results are achieved when interests are aligned. This means putting a price on carbon, providing bold incentives, introducing regulatory constraints to encourage change, and leveraging contracts or procurement that focus on environmental and financial outcomes.
